Light Painting
Question #1: What 3 photos do you feel are your strongest?
Photo #1(Heart photo)
Photo #2(Colorful Lines)
Photo #3(Green Sun)
Question #2: What did you do to make, or why do you feel they are , (Top photo 1, Top photo 2, and Top photo 3) so interesting?
For photo #1 I took a lighter and moved it in the shape of a heart. I think that it is interesting because the color makes it look like fire and the lighting in the background is tinted red like the heart.
For photo #2 I threw some glow sticks in the air from the ground. I think this one is interesting because it looks like all the colorful lights came from no where then just dropped down to the ground.
For photo # 3 I had a frame of a flower and just flowed the edges around really quickly with a glow stick. I think this is a very interesting photo because it look like a green sun painted with lights. It makes it a very unique photo.
Question #3: Explain 3 things you learned from this assignment.
I learned that a fast shutter speed is for fast moving objects and a slow shutter speed is for something that stays still. Or a slow shutter speed shows more movement. It also let's you draw with light which is pretty cool.
The second thing that I learned was shutter speed meat the amount if light let in the picture for a curtain amount of time. Before this project I didn't even know what shutter speed was.
The last thing that I learned from this project was that you could draw with glow sticks, I never knew that you could do these kinds of things with using a camera.
