Top #1: Photo 11(Horses in field) Top #2: Photo 1(Green eyed cat) Top# 3: Photo 10(Sand dunes, back flip)
What did you do to make, or why do you feel they are , (Top photo 1, Top photo 2, and Top photo 3) so interesting?
I thought that photo 11 was the best picture. I thought this because, it had the very interesting scene, with the horses eating grass, with the clouds and the trees in the background. I also liked this photo a lot because, it was lighter in the middle and darker on the edges. It also displayed the rule of thirds really well, because it shows how good the picture is, when it's on that point of interest. I thought that photo 1 was the next best because, the detail of the cats eyes and other features were very interesting, and pretty unique. I also liked the designs of the wood suture in the background, and how it is blurred out. I also think it was the best example of filling the frame out of all these pictures. I thought that photo 10 was the third best picture. I thought that it was number 3 because it had the best scene. It had a great location and the perfect snapshot of someone doing a back flip. It was also a great picture because it showed the whole story where he jumped off and where he was.
Explain 3 things you learned from this assignment.
The first thing that I learned from this project was, actually you don't have to take a picture of something exciting to take a good picture. I took some pictures of some normal, unexciting things, and made them look interesting, and awesome, to look at. Like of a chair, rocks, glass door, and some bar railings. You just have to look at it a different way, then you did before. The second thing that I learned was, that you have to look really hard for leading lines. I don't know if it was just me, or I just wasn't by many leading lines but, I had a really hard time taking pictures that applied to this category. Eventually I did find good pictures with leading lines. I learned that you can't just go anywhere, and have a area that perfectly applies to leading lines. The last thing that I learned was making some of your pictures black and white or sepia can make your picture look so much better. Usaully I never make my pictures black and white, I think it's because I don't really think to use it. But, when I was editing my pictures this time, it made some of the picture look more unique, and original.
